a doctrine of salvation that regards the astronomical world, especially by space exploration, to be the primary medium by which salvation is achieved, the first religion to assert such is Astronism.

Astro-English: from Astronese, the term astrosoteriology is formed by the prefix astro- denoting “the astronomical world”, conjoined to the word soteriology denoting “a doctrine of salvation”, meaning altogether “a doctrine of salvation by way of the astronomical world.”
