ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY
Astro-English: from Astronese, the prefix exo- denotes that which comes from “outside” or “from beyond” in order to mean extraterrestrial life; conjoining this to the word normal means to contrast the phenomena of extraterrestrial life from human activity, hence exonormal is the consideration of all phenomena involving extraterrestrial life collectively.
