ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY
Astro-English: from Astronese, the word Twilightide is formed by the word twilight which is used in its broader metaphorical sense to denote “a state of potential decline” so as to imply the imminence of the Degradation while the addition of the suffix -tide is used to denote a period of time; use of the adjective stavarian and the noun stavarianism is based on the Greek word stavrodrómi meaning “crossroads.”
